A Complete Success Story from Custom Design to Profitable Operation in September 2024

Project Overview: The Iran “Time Travel” VR Flying Ride
In September 2024, Oculeap, a leading innovator in immersive entertainment solutions, successfully completed a comprehensive, turnkey project for a major entertainment client in Iran. The project, internally coded as “Iran + Time Travel,” aimed to introduce a next-generation anchor attraction to the Iranian market. Oculeap provided true end-to-end service—managing everything from conceptual design and manufacturing to on-site installation, operational training, and ongoing revenue strategies.

Phase 1: Design and Customization
Understanding the client’s vision to create a futuristic “Time Travel” experience, Oculeap’s design team tailored the massive Sky Moto (4-player) unit to fit the venue’s specific architectural layout. The client required a high-capacity, high-impact attraction. The final design featured the sleek, cyberpunk-inspired aesthetic seen in Oculeap’s flagship models, complete with “Cool Electronic Doors” and striking hexagonal lighting elements. The design specifically accommodated the unit’s impressive dimensions (L5800W2900H2600mm) while ensuring optimal customer flow.

Phase 2: Manufacturing and On-Site Establishment
Once the design was approved, Oculeap moved to production. The 3000KG heavy-duty Sky Moto system was engineered with precision. Upon shipping to Iran, Oculeap’s specialized technical team traveled to the site to manage the complex installation. This included setting up the robust 16KW/220V power infrastructure, calibrating the Pico VR glasses for high-definition clarity, and installing the 43-inch advertising screen. The technical team also meticulously wired the Electric Box, ensuring neat arrangement and easy future maintenance, alongside setting up the Environmental Effects Generator (capable of fragrance, water spray, cold, and hot air) to maximize physical immersion.

Phase 3: Operational Training and Launch
To ensure a smooth launch, Oculeap conducted comprehensive training for the client’s local staff. Operators were taught how to use the touch screen console for direct game playback and how to manage the 22 available film selections. Crucially, the staff was trained on safety protocols, including the precise use of the Emergency Stop Button located on the console. The venue officially opened its doors, welcoming healthy individuals under 65 years old (with a height requirement of at least 1.2 meters) to experience the thrilling 5-minute sessions.

Phase 4: Marketing and Profitability
Oculeap’s service did not end at installation. To guarantee a return on investment (ROI), Oculeap provided strategic operational consulting. The client utilized the built-in 43-inch advertising screen to run promotional videos and attract foot traffic from nearby areas, significantly boosting visibility. With the ability to serve four players simultaneously every five minutes, the Sky Moto proved to be a high-throughput, revenue-generating powerhouse. The immersive sound system and multi-sensory environmental effects created such a strong word-of-mouth reputation that the venue quickly reached profitability, solidifying Oculeap’s reputation as a premier one-stop VR solution provider in the Middle East.

The remarkable profitability and seamless cooperation on the Sky Moto project solidified a deep level of trust with the Iranian client. Building on this mutual success, both parties are now actively discussing future expansions. To capitalize on the venue’s growing popularity, Oculeap is preparing to introduce even more thrilling experiences, with plans to integrate either the adrenaline-pumping Robot Storm or the cinematic VR Cinemax into the client’s entertainment portfolio in the near future. This ongoing partnership stands as a testament to Oculeap’s commitment to delivering long-term, win-win business solutions.
