In early 2024, a visionary entertainment group in Malaysia set out to launch a groundbreaking immersive attraction. They partnered with Oculeap, a global leader in turnkey immersive solutions, to bring the futuristic Track Flying Cinema to life. Oculeap managed every phase of the project, starting with custom 3D spatial designs tailored to the client’s specific venue. The team then engineered the advanced 6 DOF dynamic orbit spaceship, seamlessly integrating a massive 180-degree curved screen and state-of-the-art 8K ultra-HD laser projection. By mid-2024, Oculeap’s installation crew was on-site, executing a precise build that included specialized non-slip stairs, automatic doors, and a dynamic push track system. Crucially, the setup also featured Oculeap’s signature multi-sensory special effects—wind, rain, snow, lightning, bubbles, and water spray—transforming the physical space into a fully immersive, high-tech theatrical environment.
Operational Success and Future Expansion
Following a rigorous testing phase, the Track Flying Cinema officially opened its doors to the Malaysian public later in 2024. The venue instantly captivated mall-goers and tourists, quickly establishing itself as a premier anchor attraction. Oculeap provided comprehensive on-site staff training, ensuring the client’s team could flawlessly manage the high-efficiency continuous content flow that keeps queues moving and seats consistently filled. This strategic operational support, combined with the ride’s broad demographic appeal, rapidly translated into robust financial performance. The attraction experienced a swift return on investment, driven by high daily ridership and premium ticket pricing.
