In late 2023, Oculeap partnered with an ambitious entertainment developer in India to build a comprehensive VR theme park from the ground up – a first-of-its-kind attraction in the region. The project began with a complete site evaluation, where our design team mapped out the optimal layout for a diverse mix of attractions: the VR CineMax double-seat egg chairs for 5D cinematic experiences, VR Time Travel twin 360° rotating combat simulators for high-energy competitive play, and the Speed Racing tri-screen 6DOF motion simulator for hardcore racing enthusiasts. The crown jewel was a custom-configured Track Flying Cinema – a 180° curved-screen dynamic orbit theater with multi-sensory effects, designed to handle large crowds and deliver unforgettable group experiences. From electrical planning and foundation work to system integration and themed décor, Oculeap managed every phase of construction and installation, ensuring the entire venue came together seamlessly within a matter of months.
The grand opening in December 2023 drew massive local buzz, attracting thrill-seekers, families, and corporate groups eager to explore the region’s first dedicated VR entertainment destination. The diverse product mix proved to be a winning formula – the CineMax egg chairs offered a gentle entry point for younger visitors and families, while the Time Travel and Speed Racing units catered to adrenaline junkies, and the Track Flying Cinema became the park’s signature anchor attraction, consistently drawing capacity crowds. Oculeap’s remote monitoring tools gave the owner real-time insights into ride popularity and peak usage patterns, enabling smart staffing and dynamic pricing adjustments. By early 2024, the Indian client was already reporting robust performance across all zones, with plans underway to expand into a second location. The project cemented Oculeap’s reputation as a true end-to-end partner – capable of delivering not just individual machines, but entire VR ecosystems that entertain, engage, and generate reliable returns.
With the park exceeding every expectation, the India client is already eyeing the next level – now scoping Leap Theater and Sky Dome Cinema to anchor Phase Two. A partnership built on trust, performance, and shared success. Stay tuned.
